72westy Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Seems that after configuring & adjusting of axes my joystick (Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D Pro) it won't save what I configure it to for certain aircraft. Also after clicking 'Ok' at the bottom of the screen rather than going back to start screen the screen goes black entirely. Only way to get out is via 'Ctrl-alt delete' then close the game and restart. See signature for PC specs. Ktulu2 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Yeah, you have to edit a few controls at a time and save quickly before it crashes...It's sadly normal :( I do DCS videos on youtube : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAs8VxtXRJHZLnKS4mKunnQ?view_as=public
72westy Posted November 30, 2016 Author Posted November 30, 2016 Yeah, you have to edit a few controls at a time and save quickly before it crashes...It's sadly normal :( How do you save? Just click ok at the bottom? When I do this the screen goes black and does not return like it should to the start screen. AtaliaA1 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Typically the screen going black is a matter of the video not recovering from a draw request. Normally a driver update would fix this. I wasn't aware this is "Normal" as stated above. If so I suppose following his advice is key. This was a Boutique Builder iBuypower rig. sniperwolfpk5 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Do little changes and then save. Repeat this process Win10, Intel 3rd Gen. 72westy Posted December 1, 2016 Author Posted December 1, 2016 Do little changes and then save. Repeat this process Did this is seems to have worked. The screen going black only happened once. Using the current video drivers from AMD.
