KC-135 mod Flyable

The Yorkie had me up very early this morning so i started poking around the installed mods in 2.04 Alpha.

 

I found the ADA KC-135 mod but upon spawning, the aircraft was invisible! I could hear it but not see it.

 

Being the inquisitive type who likes to fix things, and having had a cup of very strong coffee, I made my own.

 

I used the stock ED files in the Bazar folder and created the lua's from scratch.

The mod will use what ever liveries you have installed in the save game folder. Not all will work.

 

I release this mod to the community.

 

I ask anyone who wishes to improve this mod to do so.

 

Please try to keep improvements realistic.

 

I do not know if the refueling system works. How cool would THAT be?

I did not see any control assignments for this.

 

The cockpit view was the same as the ADA mod. I re-positioned the pilot view to the left pilot body. You now "sit" in his body! Look down and you see your body!:D

 

You will not see ANY controls. They do work though and you can take off and operate the flaps and gear.

 

There are also control assignments for weapons and such but there are none. Don't bother using them......yet.

 

There is a HUD.

The refueling system will work if it is AI, but since you changed the model, you won't see where the basket is and then it's useless
