Frederf Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 (edited) According to a G6 manual re: blinker indicator 3. Lift the weapons main switch to up position and check from the loading indicator whether the guns load, and lift the front trigger away from covering the cannon button into firing position. After this, firing may commence. 4. While firing, follow the operation of the weapons from the blinkers of the ammunition counters below the cockpit windshield. When these show white, the weapon is loaded and ready to fire. If they show black, the weapon is either out of ammunition or has malfunctioned. If the malfunction is caused by a faulty cartridge, the fault is corrected automatically by letting go of the trigger, whereupon the loading motor will perform a re-load and the weapon is once again ready to fire. The Battle of Stalingrad game is showing this behavior. Armed and loaded the indication is white except blinking to black while firing and staying black when depleted. To me this makes sense from a design point but the wording of various sources can be confusing. An evolution of no electrical gun circuit power = black; armed and loaded = white; during fire = blink black; depleted or disarmed = de-energize black is quite logical. It is also consistent which one video of how the indicator reacts to electricity. But maybe it is correct currently where indicator pulse is only during firing and there is no long-duration white indication when armed and ready to fire. Edited December 21, 2016 by Frederf
MAD-MM Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 The SZKK Ammo Counter is not releated to the ammo that is left in your Ammunition storage. It's only count the Shots over electrical Ignition from the Breech. When you set improper the Ammunition load at the beginning, show allways wrong load out state. Had nothing to do with the Arm switch. Once you have tasted Flight, you will forever walk the Earth with your Eyes turned Skyward. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 9./JG27
rel4y Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 No you are right. If the Sicherungsschalter is switched to on, the blinker should be white to indicate the gun circuit is armed and the breech is in the loaded position. This is a bug!
