legitscoper Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Hello, is the viggen radar going to be exportable like A-10 MFCD? That would be very helpful. Wysłane z mojego SM-A500FU przy użyciu Tapatalka It should be! It uses an indicator just like anything else. However, it uses a complex custom shader-- so there is a chance it won't be that easy. We will investigate on release (with the help of one of you, perhaps!) Nicholas Dackard Founder & Lead Artist Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
BravoYankee4 Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Sounds great. I do know that the pit-builder community is pretty small, but there are a few of us that would really appreciate anything that will make our situation better :)
Snail Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 That indeed would be great: not only for cockpit builders, but for everyone who has a (possibility for a) second screen. How (s)low can you go
AdurianJ Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 That indeed would be great: not only for cockpit builders, but for everyone who has a (possibility for a) second screen. Monitors are so cheap these days and graphics cards have so much support for it i can't imagine flight sim enthusiasts not using multiple monitors.

RaXha Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Let them focus on getting a beta out the door first. xD
Fri13 Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 I disagree about the multi-screen setups being possible for people just by the price point. Yes people can buy a $100 á a good 24" Full HD monitor, but the question is the space and then all the benefits for everything else (just google about dual screen setups increase the productivity). What I would like, is that Eagle Dynamics would release a official (payware) Android application that allows to pull any panel or meter in simple output code so community could apply themes with the output looks and so on. As that would be far nicer to have 1-2 cheap $50-70 7" android tablets connected to WiFi/Bluetooth and get drawing the elements and be operatable with touch screen. Then getting something like Viggen radar on front in 7-10" tablet would be great. A CDU in 5" smartphone as well be great. Have a multi-tab system or dashboard (zoom-in and zoom-out capability to pick the panel from overview) as well. There are few available but not to all modules and requires little playing around etc. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.

The one big problem is how DCS handles graphics and viewports. If you want a viewport on a second screen the total render is the both screens total resolution, which of course demands a high grade computer or you loose a lot fps... Perhaps this is handled different in 2.5. Something like UltraMFCD would be nice, with scalable and unique windows for each.
