Pikey Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 This is a REALLY old bug but would still like to see a fix. Units in a group can get caught in city objects trying to path and get stuck in an endless circle, stopping progress. Steps to reproduce 1. make a large group, larger the easier it is 2. set them to go across a city without using roads 3. Observe, you usually get one or two caught eventually. In the video I free them, but interestingly one gets caught again and I need to free him again. Wrecking Crew Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 The units do the same circling thing on roads when they encounter dead vehicles. IMO, at least when encountering dead vehicles, the travelling units should go up over the top and not try to detour along the box edges of the dead unit. I'm agreeing with Pikey. Groups travelling through areas of buildings still get caught in circles, also inside buildings and under FARPs. 1 Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms.
