These really are hidden gems in Lock On. If you haven't tried out some missions with these, and similar, weapons give them a go as the graphics, etc are first rate.

I'm now looking for some feeble excuse to build a mission with the P-500 or the Kh-22 Kitchen.

Thanks, Mizzy. Yes, the flight modeling in Lock On is good. In fact it beats the default Microsoft aircraft in my opinion. I would recommend anyone new to flight simming to start with the LOMAC A-10 or Su-25. That MSFS Cessna 172 is a swine to fly accurately.

I'm sticking with FS9 a bit longer; I don't think I'll get much out of FSX with my current equipment. I might just wait until FSXI or FSXII is released, although I'd be interested to know how the new Airbus and Boeing are modeled in FSX. Must say the DHC Beaver does look pretty good though - have you sunk yet?

Not sure wot model cessna u mean but a been flying the 152 (for my lessons) lately and i have found it is quite happy to fly straight for me. I would have imagined the 172 to be quite stable aswell. Aint flown gliders though so I cant compare that for you.

Have you had a go at knocking down Kitchen's air-to-air? Probably unrealistic but I recall doing it occasionally in v1.02, dunno if you still can in v1.12a. I had set up a little mission where I was flying an Su-27 on CAP over a naval group with AWACS help.
