Spc Johnson Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 When I try to use the Viggen it crashes right when I click 'fly' in the slot select screen. I tested other aircraft and all others work. I verified the game integrity and that didnt solve the issue. -unsure what other information might be useful to add to this problem.

Can you make this happen, and then go to your Username/Saved Games/DCS/Logs folder, and zip up what you have there and attach it here? It would help us a lot! Spc Johnson Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 2nd attempt at uploading crash log file ILogs.zip
swither Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Hi guys, I'm looking into this but so far i have not been able to reproduce it unfortunately. Does it happen for all missions? Both SP and MP? Certain loadouts? What are your system specs? /Daniel Heatblur Simulations
Spc Johnson Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 Swither response So far I can only get past the 'briefing' in Training mode and if I put just a single Viggen (clean loadout) in a custom mission with no other ground units or aircraft. Ive not tried this in multiplayer, but I will update that when I try it. My system specs CPU - AMD FX 8350 8 core 4.2 ghz GPU - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti RAM - 16 GB [unknown type] OS - Windows 10 If anything else would help just let me know because this is the first time I've ever tried reporting a 'bug' or issue like this.
rrohde Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 For me, a simple reboot did the trick. No more issues. I didn't reboot after updating DCS to 1.5.6 and the installation of the Viggen - as soon as I did, it works. Spc Johnson Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 I'll have to try multiplayer soon to see if perhaps its something to do with the Mission editor, because the training missions work fine.
mvsgas Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Crash after entering cockpit on single mission. Training missions working fine. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
