Whoever did the sounds of the Viggen, give that man a beer!

 

From the closing of the canopy to the whine of the electrics, the "clicks" on the throttle to the afterburners, the sound of this module is fantastic! The first time I started the engine I was like "Woah! What a beast!"

Yeah they are amazing, was a little dissapointed by the external "F3" sounds though, was hoping it would be more RRRROOOOAARRRRR MMMUUUMMBLLLEEERRUUUMMBLLLEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeee"

 

As now it is more like SSWWWWOOOOOSSSSSSssshsshhhhhhhhh"

 

The Mirage have great external sounds.

These throttle clicks etc. sound exactly as I remember them when I was in the Aviodrome Viggen cockpit. Great job!

I have to say great job on the cockpit sound Leatherneck :thumbup:

With every step from starting cold on the ground and playing with the switches by powering up the systems and starting the engine it just gets better and better. Ambient of things shaking in the cockpit when flying make the Viggen sound just real and alive. The immersion level build by sounds in Viggen is just extraordinary.

I've always considered the Mig-21 to be the plane with the most character in DCS, and I know I'm not alone, but now it's a toss-up.

The sounds, the feel, the fit and finish (or lack thereof) really draw you in to it. Great job LNS...and a special thanks to Cobra for spending a lot of additional time teaching us the way of the Viggen!:thumbup:

The Viggen currently use the default external sounds, they will be adding custom (better) external sounds later. Apparently adding external sounds is something ED has to help them with.
