All,

I've been wondering this for a while. Other sims have some great community created references, detailed EM diagrams, plane v plane comparisions, tactics guides etc. some of which must have taken many hours of testing and documenting to produce. Real works of art. But I have rarely seen much on LockOn! Certainly nothing in such detail.

Why? We have some very bright people - is it something missing from the sim?

You mean like this:

Yes, exactly that sort of thing ...

And that refers to the early versions of LO and has not changed to reflect changes in the sim as it has eveolved. Plus those graphs are pretty crude in comparison to those available for other sims and are about the only info available (that I have found) ... how about 29 v 15 or the differences between the 27 and 33? What about altitude?

I think it's because Lock On always changes it's general behaviour in every patch, like the look down-shoot down from the earlier patches to the look up-shoot alignment of the missiles in 1.12a

Agreed, everything has changed with each patch ... but the latest version has been out for quite sometime and there are no decent comprehensive E-M diagrams specific to this version. Perhaps I'm missing them ... but with all the heavy discussions on 27 v 15 v 33 v 29 ... you'd think someone would have done some testing and documented it.
