drPhibes Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 It declutters the HUD below 100m. It probably has other functions as well, but I haven't looked into that yet.
QuiGon Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I think it locks the ADI needles in the TILL position. From the manual: The command steering needles display steering commands from the CK37 in pitch and course angles. The needles are stowed during take-off mode, visual landing mode (LANDN P/O), or when the HUD slave (SLAV-SI) switch is in position ON (TILL), as well as during CK and primary data errors. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
