Campaign currently broken?

Hey guys,

 

I'm trying to run the campaign in the latest version of the Open Alpha (2.0.5.1648), but the first mission seems to be broken. The mission starts in airfield view over Creech, and there don't appear to be any aircraft in the scenario at all. There's dialogue/VO that plays and I can maneuver around the space, but that's it.

 

Any ideas what's going on?

First mission is an intro mission. The briefing text says: "On board a C-130 flying into Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas Nevada..."

 

Not sure why you started in airfield view as when I start I see this:

It seems that the latest patch killed the campaign. Anyone else noticed this?

Nevermind. 2.1 killed the whole game. :D

Can you elaborate? What's broken for you?

 

Here is a screenshot from the first mission showing the new lighting effects.

 

 

2nd mission seemed ok as well.

 

 

Try restarting DCS before you play the missions if you are getting unexpected behaviors.

Thanks for your reply. I updated my Nvidia drivers, and everything works fine now. :)

Very good. Yes it's a good idea to update drivers whenever there is a large graphics update like the last one. Sorry I should have thought of that in my reply.
