Offtopic, but did you put griptape on your throttle? That idea with the mouse is great. Need to try that with a cheap cable mouse.

I'm pretty comfortable with using my right hand and the mouse to select the stuff. I just hold the Joystick/Cyclic with the left hand while operating the mouse.

Yup, saw the tape before the mouse. Want to do that now!!!!!

Yes I applied it to both my throttle as seen in pics as well as my jstick. It is a product I used for my handguns grips called Talon Grips.

I used paper to make templates to get exact pattern for nice fit and then cut material using paper pattern. It comes in 2 material types, Rubber grip, that I used, as well as a sandpaper type material called Granular. I bought 2 or 3 sheets of the large size for it all.

Feels awesome and removes that often ice cold feel they get when not in use. I recommend it highly.

I picked up a left hand trackball to use beside my throttle. Mouse with right, trackball with left.

Good idea but you still need to take you hands of the HOTAS which will decrease efficiency compared to using the HOTAS. Think you're best off choosing buttons that you never really need to grasp for in an emergency (right mouse button is vital for quickly grasping for all sorts of buttons and levers, eject, landing gear etc!) and map them to the keypad though I might use your setup for the warthog. Try mapping mouse buttons to HOTAS and play with it for a while and I think like me you'll realize advantageous it can be sometimes.

And in response to the other guys question yeah clouds are pretty funky in 1.5.5 fixed for 1.56 though I think but with more performance problems for the system.

The real pilot takes his hands off the HOTAS too...

I can map the left mouse click button, however that still leaves the switches which need scrolling.

How'd you map "Left mouse click"
