Ironhand Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) Higher altitude, low airspeed contact, from the looks of it. Edit: It's nose is pointing to 4 'o clock. Winston 60 Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 (edited) That symbol represents a target acquired by your own radar plus another radar, with med to high altitude, and slow speed. Taki1980 Posted March 4, 2017 Author Posted March 4, 2017 Ahh now it makes sense. They where Slow Moving High Altitude. What are those Numbers sometimes Left and Right from that Mark. I had a "1" there last time i looked close on my HDD
Nate--IRL-- Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 IIRC, that symbol represents a target acquired by other than your own radar (AWACS, GCI or data link), with med to high altitude, and slow speed. That's cool - I'd like that implemented. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
Ironhand Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 (edited) That's cool - I'd like that implemented. Nate Ummm...it is implemented. Except that the first symbol with the enclosed triangle on the tail indicates that the target is both illuminated by your radar and datalinked from someone else. The 3rd and 4th symbols are simply scanned by your own radar and not datalinked from another radar. The 2nd symbol is simply datalinked. You're not scanning it with your own radar. ...
