Nose going UP when flaps are retracted

I was flying straight and perfectly trimmed with flaps down on an approach when I decided to see what happened if I put the flaps in the up position. To my surprise the nose lifted. Shouldn't the flaps create more lift when in the down position than in the up position?

Interesting, and not the reaction one is used to when using the flaps. Good to know though that everything's in order. I did notice that the plane felt alot better taking off now than it did when I bought it which apparently is linked to changes in the flight model.

This is correct. The angle of attack profile is changed when you change the flaps. Even though the nose seems to go down the actual lift increases and the rate of decent is less...
