ijozic,

If the weapon you are delivering is an LGB(Laser Guided Bomb) - you are not going anywhere until it has impacted......unless you don't care about hitting your target ;) .

Of course, but that's not a MODERN weapon, is it? I specifically mentioned LGBs as being from the 'good old days'. I think you misunderstood me.

i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg.

DISCLAIMER: My posts are still absolutely useless. Just finding excuses not to learn the F-14 (HB's Swansong?).

Annoyed by my posts? Please consider donating. Once the target sum is reached, I'll be off to somewhere nice I promise not to post from. I'd buy that for a dollar!

I'd love a 2-seat pit as well, if only to help train recruits...its all well and good to record them a track BUT...no guarantees it plays alright for them, has no audio etc etc.

What I wouldn't give for a 2-seat pit (no, I'm not reinstalling 1.02) so we could much quicker teach them zero-vis landings etc.

I would really really love to see a 2 seat sim, and thats why I voted for the 15E option.

Re-reading your post I can see that you mentioned LGBs as being among those of "the good old days" - so yes I guess I misunderstood your point.

But then I would indeed regard LGBs as belonging to the category of "MODERN" weapons :) .

Cheers,

Last time I checked, they were still slinging LGB's on Hornets, they were on Tomcats all the way to the end, and are still common on Eagles..soooooo

I'd call them modern. To me, "non-modern" bombs would include the Paveway I's and such, snakeye Mk. 82's and Mk. 117's.
