DoomEngine Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Hey everyone- Just purchased the Spit (and loving it), but I can't seem to get my head around how the airspeed indicator is read. Usually I'm adept at puzzles, but this gauge makes no sense to me. Could someone break it down for me? [sIGPIC]http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/375/pics/3_31.jpg[/sIGPIC]
Tucker Fleming Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 The meter has a dual concentric scale tared in miles per hour. Readings on the outer scale are in the range of 60 miles per hour to 280 miles per hour, then from 280 to 480 miles per hour on the internal scale. Graduation is at 5 miles per hour for both scales.
