So, flying the Mirage after the latest update was interesting. Popping the boards out on approach resulted in me sinking like a rock...didn't happen prior to update.

Greased the landing, except for the stutter as soon as my wheels touched the runway. Popped the boards out again while attempting an aerobrake only to have my nose slam down and collapse the nose gear almost immediately. Also didn't happen prior to the update....

So I guess airbrakes aren't to be used on approach or landing?

Yes, bad idea.

In approach, they won't slow you that much.

But thy will kill your lift. Something you don't want.

At standart AoA for approach (14°), your entire delta wing is a much more efficient A/B.

Well, I tried again without airbrakes and everything was fine until I tried to gently lower the nose at a little over 100kts. After the nose contacted the runway the nose suddenly porpoised upwards, my tail struck the runway, the main gear collapsed, and then the nose slammed down and broke the nose gear.

I never had this much trouble landing the Mirage since buying it nearly a year ago...

I've experienced similar difficulties landing the Mirage. I don't have any specific conditions under which it happened though.

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.
