Since adding TacView, I'm learning more about how wingmen will try to maintain formations (poorly) and attempt to always play "follow the leader" even when over a target.

What I would like to see is an "Attack In Kind" command which would effectively put your wingmen into a "monkey see / monkey do" mode.

If I fly in on a heading of 270 at 5,000' and launch a Maverick or drop a CBU-97 on a target and start a left traffic pattern to prosecute that target, then each of my wingmen should fall into trail and do exactly the same thing. If it works properly, on my second pass, -4 should be on the crosswind leg, -3 should be down wind and -2 should be turning base behind me ready to start his next pass. This would set up a proper "wagon wheel"

Having experienced non-lethal "flour bombing" with former military pilots under the direction of a real A-10 Fast FAC playing JTAC on the ground, I've learned that the way DCS makes attacks turn into fuster clucks is really flawed.

Just spitballin here...

I know the post has been sitting here a while. With the latest update I test 2 and 4 ship A10c runs. With my experience all commands work properly but you can't trust them against SAM/AAA.

A person can attack an SA-8 easily with normal D mavericks. An AI seems to have issues with that. They get too close, they get a sam launch, dump weapons, and its been 50/50 if they actually dodge it or not.

They don't attack very well unless you anchor them somewhere or manually position them and take out any huge threats to them. Otherwise they have been working as intended for me.

I agree, +1 - should be added to the wishlist thread and not here, it is not a bug or problem it works as designed by devs... ;)
