Since Capt Z seems to be busy on other projects, if any one wants to work with me on getting the Tacan panel to work in Helios with Loz's profile, please let me know. I don't have enough knowledge to do it.

I'd be happy to help when I can find the time. I am not even getting time to fly right now. I was reading something about another app that does the same thing as Helios a few weeks back but I have not had time to look at it. I think it may resolve some of these issues? I will look for the link and post up.

From what I have seen, I doubt the Ikarus profile is as complete as Loz' Helios profile. I only glanced at the A-10 one but most of the ones I did look at, more closely, need some up front work to make them as good as what we have from Loz and Captain Zeen.

 

Ikarus probably has the potential to be better that Helios, for us, but the existing profiles are not completely fleshed out yet.

I just threw it out there as an alternative. I have no experience with it myself. I am still on Helios and would like to stay with it. The down side is no support. Im no coder, so there is very little help available from my end. When I run into issues, it takes alot of hours to resolve and thats if it gets resolved at all. This is a small group of users unfortunately.
