FPS DROP WHEN ZOOM

Well, the tittle is self explanatory.

 

Im having this issue that is killing my dcs experience. Im flying all good like at 60-90fps looking at the hills/mountains/valley or whatever, but when i zoom in sometimes i even get freezed for a couple of seconds,

 

not to mention when im about to land, and i zoom to see the runway or something... i can remember couple of times that i crashed into the ground because i got freezed 5 or more seconds...

 

i can have some help with this?? Maybe a known issue?

btw: im running on a fx8350 @4.0 and a RX480 8gb

I randomly got 1~3 seconds freeze even if not zoom in. It seems that the latest version can't handle the pagefiles very well.

Get yourself an SSD, one of the best upgrade I've done for DCS although I hope ED could solve this issue for player with HDD.

i got an ssd but it has only 60gb :( cant put the caucasus and all the modules in there :(

The issues I had were;

Lag Spike every 20-30 seconds,

Stuttering when zooming in and zooming out.

Stuttering when looking around.

Force Feedback spiking.

 

I corrected all of these issues by simply doing a fresh install.

 

Now all is smooth.
