Wright_GR1 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Hi there I accidentally updated DCS with some mods activated and now I screwed up my MiG-21 install and the mods at the same time. Whats the best way to sort this out? I tried a repair and that didn't work. would it be best to de-activate the module and then delete the file in the mods section of the file structure and re-install the module from scratch? not really keen on re-installing DCS in its entirety!
cthulhu68 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 (edited) Are you aware of the registry fix required for Mig21? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=185642 If you haven't already you need to deactivate Mig21, run registry app. activate Mig21. Edited May 4, 2017 by cthulhu68
Art-J Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Since your install is probably a mess now, after modding mixed with repairing, I would do a cleanup first... ... and go for a MiG issue later. As cthulhu mentioned, erase MiG license data from You windows registry using relevant batch file from here (absolutely mandatory, otherwise you can reinstall the module till the end of the world and it won't work anyway): https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3102385&postcount=1 Then repair, update and try activating the plane again. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
