VRInsight panels issue

I have two panels, one is the switchboard, and the other is the multi control one with a few slider axises. Both just USB plug n play.

 

In the control panel (Windows) both display as USB Pad (they're supposed to) and both appear to be functioning properly there, keypresses light up, axises function, etc. Since I plugged them in, the control panel display itself is a bit laggy, scrolling up and down the list, but doesn't appear to be anything serious. All previously utilised devices seem to function normally.

 

In DCS only one of them is displaying, though, incidentally the one with the axises. Does anyone else here use these panels, have any issues, etc?

 

Could the failure to recognise it be because they have the same device name? If so, is there a way to change a device's display name?

Each device should have a unique name or number.

I only have the multi switch panel but 4 button boxes as well.

And 2 joysticks and a collective and cyclic.

8 input devices total!

All play well together.

I have 11 devices (eight panels, 3 controllers) not counting other bits. Is there a maximum number? I'll look into it more and see if I can change the device names. They both display in Windows as 'USB Pad'

32 devices in windows is max if I am not mistaken.

 

They may have the same name but should have different id numbers.

 

I have 2 button boxes i made using BB-32's. They both are called the same name with a different id number at the end in the DCS controls assignment screen.
