Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Hi, since the release of the new 2.1 version, I noticed that sometimes (I couldn't find a reason nor a trigger for this, sorry) when looking at mountains surfaces throught a more or less wide/tangent angle I see this problem: the terrain mesh start making like "holes" very similar to when in a 3d soft you invert normals. It only happens near the boundaries of the screen area and as soon as you move a bit the camera or look the terrain from a more vertical position the problem is gone: It only seems to happen in NTTR. Anyone noticed this??...hope it can be of help for fixing... Many thanks!! Take a look at my MODS here

Texac Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 got some coordinates? or a rough location? It appears to me as well and not only at a certain location. To me that bug can occur everywhere on the terrain/mountains. However I don't know how to directly force that visual bug to appear. Will try that now. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •
Texac Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 A few attached images show those black holes at two different locations. Everything is set on high here with flat terrain shadows. These are not shadows created by the sun, the sun is shining directly on those mountains. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •
Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 thanks for your replies guys!! Glad to see I'm not the only one with the problem Texac :P As Texac said, its not possible to give a particular place, it seems to happen everywhere when flying low and near mountains at the edges of the screen area... Settings are maxed out, except MSAA (disabled), DoF (disabled), and ground shadows at flat. cheers! Take a look at my MODS here
