rnm2000 Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Is is possible that after you consumed your activation, they will give you additional activation?
Rangi Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Yes, once you reach 0 you automatically get another one after 30 days. PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.
rnm2000 Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 tnks if I deactivate the modules? will it consume my activation left? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Automan Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 No, deactivate a module will add an activation and you will lose a deactivation: 10 activations and 10 deactivations are available at start ACER Predator Orion 9000: W10H | Intel i9-7900X OC@4.5Ghz | 8x16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport | Sapphire GTX1080TI | Intel 900P 480GB | Intel 600P 256GB | HP EX950 1TB | Seagate Firecuda 2TB ACER Predator XB281HK: 28" TN G-SYNC 4K@60hz ThrustMaster Warthog Hotas, TPR, MFD Cougar Pack, HP Reverb Pro
VoodooVinny Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Yes, once you reach 0 you automatically get another one after 30 days. The module is already tied to your DCS World account, then why are we having to use up those activations whenever your DCS World needs to be updated? I would hate to have to wait 24 hours much less 30 days because of an unplanned activation issue (which happens more often than you think these days).
hansangb Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Updates don't eat up activation. If you HD crashes, or you make major changes to your rig, it can eat up an activation. But before you make major changes, you can deactivate, make changes, and reactivate. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
lazduc Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 So, if you deactivate, make changes, reactivate....the software police will see a change has been made and cause an activation usage. No?
Automan Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 No, you will lose a deactivation but the number of activations available will not change ACER Predator Orion 9000: W10H | Intel i9-7900X OC@4.5Ghz | 8x16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport | Sapphire GTX1080TI | Intel 900P 480GB | Intel 600P 256GB | HP EX950 1TB | Seagate Firecuda 2TB ACER Predator XB281HK: 28" TN G-SYNC 4K@60hz ThrustMaster Warthog Hotas, TPR, MFD Cougar Pack, HP Reverb Pro
