No, deactivate a module will add an activation and you will lose a deactivation:

10 activations and 10 deactivations are available at start

The module is already tied to your DCS World account, then why are we having to use up those activations whenever your DCS World needs to be updated? I would hate to have to wait 24 hours much less 30 days because of an unplanned activation issue (which happens more often than you think these days).

Updates don't eat up activation. If you HD crashes, or you make major changes to your rig, it can eat up an activation. But before you make major changes, you can deactivate, make changes, and reactivate.

So, if you deactivate, make changes, reactivate....the software police will see a change has been made and cause an activation usage. No?

No, you will lose a deactivation but the number of activations available will not change
