Mr_sukebe Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 (edited) Just curious (i.e. this isn't a complaint). Just checked and my 2.1 DCS installation, including Nevada, Normandy and a few mods is currently 73GB. Is that normal or is some of that junk? Just had a bit of a dig. Apparently Nevada is taking up nearly 34GB and Normandy 9GB. which explains over half of it. Additionally, my "few mods" is 4GB for the aircraft alone. Guess it's good to know. some1 Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Sounds about right. That being said, if you have a folder named "_downloads" then its contents can be safely removed. Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
Mr_sukebe Posted July 16, 2017 Author Posted July 16, 2017 Thanks. I do have a downloads folder, but it's sub 1Mb, so not worth worrying about. 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
