Hi guys,

Maybe one of you help me on this matter. I already contacted TM and I am waiting their response.

Here goes what's going on:

"Good afternoon,

I bought my Warthog Hotas on the Burbank Fry's on June, 23rd, 2017, installed it on July, 11th (I was flying around). I used the hotas for one week and travelled again (I am an OEM Pilot) and came back yesterday.

Since the unboxing, the throttle pinky switch was kind of loose, but was working ok. Today it was the 8th day I am using it and the pinky worked for a couple of times and then it just made a weird click noise during one of the actuations and didn't work anymore. All the rest is working fine, but the throttle pinky switch doesn't respond anymore and it doesn't click in any direction.

Is there anything I can do about it?

My HOTAS serial number is #64822.

It is kind of frustating to get a problem like this is such nice and new setup.

I thank you in advance for any help."

Guys, anyone has gone through something similar? :joystick:

Looking forward to hear from wise users! :helpsmilie:

I would think TM would cover you under warranty with it being new.

I would press for a replacement throttle.

Dbourne,

I think that would be the case IF I was in USA. I live in Brazil and would be hell to send it to USA and then reimport, then I'd had to pay the import fees (60% including S&H) and so on...

If they send me a new switch I'd be very happy.

Tks for the tip anyway.

Hi guys, good morning,

Just to update the issue I had with my Warthog Pinky switch.

After 6 days I requested TM Support, they answered me.

What they requested from me:

- Short film with the Pinky Switch actuation and Windows control panel response

- Picture of invoice

- Picture of serial number on the base of the device.

- Full name

- Full shipping address

- Phone number

I did that and today they e-mailed me informing that a new pinky switch was ordered and is on my way. Besides that they sent me the instructions how to replace it. It is a pdf with 4 pictures how to install it.

I will make a post with detailed pictures.

All the best,

Hi guys,

Today I got the guts to install the new Pinky Switch that I received from Thrustmaster.

No big deal and I did it in 20min. I will post the pictures later.

All the best and thanks for the advice.
