VMFA117_Poko Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 It would be nice if ED could also add some new objects on the airfields like: levee or concrete thrust deflectors and lamp-posts row behind the aircrafts parking areas. This is not so important but it would intersperse immersion, wouldn't You agree guys? Imagine how nice could look parked highlighted aircrafts waiting for a night sortie.
Ice Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 There should be a KFC in each town as well. My next project :pilotfly: 1
VMFA117_Poko Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 You know what? That's an idea. ED could get a support from KFC. I worked there for 2 weeks (couldn't stand it longer). I'd like to blow that place up! But seriously now. What I mentioned earlier - those objects are very common on russian airfields. 1
pschelchshorn Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Kentucky Fried Chicken? Oh come on, everyone just knows that Burger King's Whopper kicks butt! I want my Burger King, or why not a PX and a Commissary on Base? Flip "Imagine the reason that people hold on to hatred so stubbornly is because if the hate is removed, the pain will set in. Shaman Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Firstly, before adding new objects to the game it would be nice to have a PC that can run LOFC at scenes high, visibility high. Or rather have LO optimized for dual core, which possibly could allow to have these settings maxed out and mantain good FPS. 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
EscCtrl Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Is there a way the community could add in some model set like that? worth a try because ED wont add it for a long time.

RvETito Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 You know what? That's an idea. ED could get a support from KFC. I worked there for 2 weeks (couldn't stand it longer). I'd like to blow that place up! Hehe, that's a good one! This could be a start of a thread like "What you want to have modelled in LO in order to blow it up over and over?". For me that would be the st... Oups! Never mind, disregard what's written above. Don't want to spam your thread Poko24. "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. VMFA117_Poko Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 ...the stupiest. Got it. KFC wasn't the subject. Alpha, please close the thread.
Alfa Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I don't think it is stupid at all Poko - e.g. I like the idea of lamp posts on airfields :) . - JJ. 1 JJ
Alfa Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Lamp post? are you talking about flood lights, if so that is a great idea. No I meant lamp posts - like poko said: "...lamp-posts row behind the aircrafts parking areas" :) Like this: ....well I suppose they could be considered floodlights too, but they look more like lamp posts :D . But would they work after dark? No I don't think third party modders could get them to work....not as far as casting light on the ground anyway :) Cheers, - JJ. JJ
Ice Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Now that would making buzzing your wingman as they spool up much more interesting
