Started editing a new mission yesterday and found some weird behaviour.

I created an aircraft, type Yak-40 (type doesn't matter, F-10C shows the same behaviour) several miles out of Batumi (Sochi was the same, on Tblisi on the other hand everything was ok) with a landing waypoint. The aircraft successfully landed, but then took the second taxiway exit. Cool, I thought, and put a second aircraft in line, the big chinese transporter (can't recall the name now). It turned out, that it also tried to take the second taxiway exit, but was way too fast, so it rolled over the grass.

Nearly the same at Sochi. Aircraft lands, but then, after 50 meters or so, it turns 180°, rolls back to the first exit, and enters the taxiway.

All landings were from the sea-side.

In Tblisi surprisingly, there is no problem. All aircraft roll until the last exit.

Its known/expected behavior. The AI behavior at airbases hasn't really been updated in a long time on that map, so it won't match what you see in 2.0. For example on 2.0 the AI will try to take the first available taxiway exit assuming they are moving slow enough. On the Caucuses there are explicit taxiways the AI are told to take, thus they may turn around to get to it. Its only really a problem at specific bases, for example Batumi and Sochi. Both those bases, plus Ghelenzik and Novorossik will always have aircraft take off toward the sea and land from the sea. So to limit the areas which AI may travel in different directions on the same taxiway the game forces them to take a different exit. Its not a problem at Tbilisi simply due to the design of the base, the AI will always taxi onto the runway at one end and taxi off from the other.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

"Best" thing i've experienced so far was a Tu-160 that turned onto the grass after landing, colliding with a scenery radar truck. Wheels were on the grass, but its right wing was still blocking the runway when it got stuck there - but that did not impress the second AI Tu-160. Shortly after the second one touched down it caused a quite expensive crash with the first one, leaving Sochi unusable for all other AI Airplanes.

But that behavior lets larger Planes crash into scenery on their attempt to turn on the runway, leaving the airfield unuseable.

Yes I saw this behavior in B-52. It try to takeoff opposite of the runway, mean on terrain and crashed on Beacon building
