TAC 21 - BAI Management Day

I keep getting splashed by MIGS as I get cleared into the kill box. At first I thought it was due to arriving too early, but second time I arrive late and I still get killed.

 

Where is the CAP protecting me for this mission? Or am I suppose to defend against the MIG 29s somehow?

There are dutch F-16s that should engage the Migs so avoid them at first (or engage them if you desire). Once the air threat is gone then you can proceed with the rest of the mission.

Is the killbox waypoint msn02? I hold at CP bravo and then when I start heading to msn02 I'm told I'm clear to engage targets of opportunity. I also get shot down by the Migs but last time my wingmen took them out.

 

Although I'm having trouble locating which targets to take out in the killbox. Are there actual coordinates?

 

What I did was orbit msn02 and ask my flight to engage targets of opportunity. They head to do that and then I slew my tgp to where they are attacking and I see a road with lots of street lights, some tanks,etc. I attack there as well.

 

After a while the isntructor tells me playtime is over and cleared to rtb. But I'm not sure if I hit the right targets?

You should study the killbox diagram and recognize where the boundaries are. Any targets within the boundaries are fair game.

 

If you engage targets outside the killbox then you should hear a message when you do and it will impact your qualification.

Passed it finally. There are two groups of tanks kind of close to each other. With the help of my wingmen I ordered them to attack ground targets near msn002 and that gave me a SPI I could use and easily locate the targets. Wingman ran out of ammo but second element was fine so I helped them take out the remainder of the targets.

 

Enjoying these misisons so far, I've learned so much.
