mj3437 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I'm not sure if this belongs here as it is not a bug or a problem, but is there a way of adjusting the speed of the TDC slew rate? I find it too fast and not very precise at the default setting. This is for all the aircraft that I have, but most annoying in the F-15 when trying to sort targets in TWS. I am using the hat on a MS Sidewinder FFB stick. Flying 1.5.6....:joystick: Thanks for any tips or tricks. VampireNZ Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Go into Axis Tune for both the TDC settings and reduce Saturation Y right down to around 20, see how you go. That will slow the curser right down. But generally just have a play with the Saturation settings and see what you like best. Vampire
mj3437 Posted August 24, 2017 Author Posted August 24, 2017 I am using the hat switch on my MSFFB2 stick. No axis to tune! Any file that can be edited to slow it down? MJ From axis tune top down, set the values as follows 30 100 30 or 40 0 should have flat middle and linear extremes in the graph. enjoy! mr_mojo97 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 In the A-10C You can do it through the right mfcd which is miles easier. Can't remember how off the top off my head as I've not flown the hog in 2 years but it's a simple process. mj3437 Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 Is there a way to do it in the F-15 specifically? MJ msi Z170A MB, i7-6700k @ 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 GeForce GTX 970 4GB, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Acer Predator Z271, 650w PSU, Corsair Carbon500R, MS FFB 2
mkiii Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 From what I can see, the Radar cursor command is just a simple Key Down makes it move, Key UP makes it stop moving affair, and your hat is repeating that keystroke in the same way that a keyboard does it. (check mods\aircraft\flaming cliffs\input\f-15c folder for default.lua) If this were a WH or a Saitek stick, it would be a simple matter to use the stick scripting / profile programming SW to alter the repeat speed of a control. Is there a way you can do this for your MS stick?
mj3437 Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 I have no software installed for the MS stick, and don't know if there is any available for it that would still be compatible. I will do some Googling to see what I can find:book: Thanks for the help MJ msi Z170A MB, i7-6700k @ 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 GeForce GTX 970 4GB, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Acer Predator Z271, 650w PSU, Corsair Carbon500R, MS FFB 2
