zaelu Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 I think it would add some atmosphere if we had a "guncamera" type of camera (the one existing in game now) to pop up movies for missions and campaigns. it can be either a player for simple mp4 movies or in game - in engine footage cleverly made with units that pop into existence only for this purpose... fo a little play that can be used as intro into a mission or even during the mission. I know some aspects would be not fully realistic but hey might add to atmosphere greatly. Obviously size, placement, effects on that "window" would be nice to be editable. Magic Zach Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 The Mustang had a camera that was triggered when the trigger was pressed. I am triggered that this does not work, to my knowledge. I would like this to work, as well as the cameras for other aircraft. +1 1 Hardware: T-50 Mongoose, VKB STECS, Saitek 3 Throttle Quadrant, Homemade 32-function Leo Bodnar Button Box, MFG Crosswind Pedals Oculus Rift S System Specs: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS, RTX 4090, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5-3600, Samsung 990 PRO Modules: AH-64D, Ka-50, Mi-8MTV2, F-16C, F-15E, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-5E, P-51D, Spitfire Mk LF Mk. Magic Zach Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 If we use the word "trigger" enough from our triggered responses, this might trigger ED to work on this. 1 Hardware: T-50 Mongoose, VKB STECS, Saitek 3 Throttle Quadrant, Homemade 32-function Leo Bodnar Button Box, MFG Crosswind Pedals Oculus Rift S System Specs: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS, RTX 4090, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5-3600, Samsung 990 PRO Modules: AH-64D, Ka-50, Mi-8MTV2, F-16C, F-15E, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-5E, P-51D, Spitfire Mk LF Mk. zaelu Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 I think I meant something else than what you are talking about. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
The Black Swan Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 I think I meant something else than what you are talking about. :) lol I'm pretty sure I know what you mean. You are talking about a way to make in game cutscenes for briefings right? GeForce GTX 970, i5 4690K 3.5 GHz, 8 GB ram, Win 10, 1080p
zaelu Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 yes and I though a "guncamera" thingie would do the trick with scenes made on the fly (sic) within the game engine.
