Buckeye Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 The display of DCS 1.5 on my Rift is so bright I can barely see anything when flying. I can only see my HUD when I have perfect lighting, and the rest of the map is so bright and washed out it is ridiculous. When viewing on my monitor this is not the case at all. Does VR not support shaders (I use SweetFX and ReShade 3.0), or am I missing something else? I should probably explain what shaders are and that of course VR supports shaders, but it's easier to just say that no, SweetFX and ReShade will not work in VR. And there's pretty much nothing I can do to fix the brightness until ED decides they want to fix it instead? I turned it off mainly due to performance reasons, hoping they can tweak that some going forward.
