Baz000 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Is the T/O trim working now in the F-15? I noticed when I do not use it sometimes my elevators are trimmed nose up on start-up... I was wondering if now it becomes very necessary to use the T/O Trim for every takeoff?
GGTharos Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 No, the default position of the elevators works just fine. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Baz000 Posted September 2, 2017 Author Posted September 2, 2017 Are you sure? Because I thought the same thing until I saw that the T/O trim function seems to be working now.
razo+r Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I never used T/O trimm and it worked every time without any problems
GGTharos Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I'm sure. You might want to use it after landing, but right now the T/O trim position produces a very heavy pitch-up after take-off (2g) before the PTC trims it out. Are you sure? Crew Dog Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I personally use it, basing my T/O procedure off the -1, but once airborne, trim her back down, not unlike the Flanker after raising flaps FENRIR http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzO1zVdbcIJPsKXqYl3Vvaw No KC-10 in DCS?
