Buckeye Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Are these type of chairs for sale anywhere on the market?! I have been looking to upgrade my seat for my VR pit (click hereto see it) with a chair that already has a spot cut off for my joystick to sit, but I have had ZERO luck. ward8124 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I feel your pain mate as I had been looking for quite sometime for an option for my own pit. I think your options are: 1. Look on Ebay for an actual flight seat from an old aircraft 2. Get a car seat and cut out a section and tidy it up (I've done this) 3. I saw some guy a while back trying to do a kickstarter for a pit for star citizen where he'd done a full pit but what interested me was the seat he used as it looks nice neat and as per purpose. Might want to contact him. https://forums.starcitizenbase.com/topic/19414-speedmaster-kickstarter/ EVGA GTX1080TISC2 Black Hybrid Cooler, Asus Strix X399, Water cooled ThreadRipper 1920X, Dominator 32GB 3200Mhz,NVME Samsung 250/500GB SSDs, Corsair Air 740 case, Acer Predator 34' Gsync curved display + 3x Alienware 23inch 120hz monitors. Cibit Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I took a stanley knife and a saw to my chair to get the inset. I have never seen any for sale, but if your neat and tidy and careful then its possible to make a nice job yourself :) i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB

Actually no, it's surprisingly damn good for a blow moulded plastic seat and that''s after over 400 hours. :D:thumbup: Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.
