There are two interactive NS430 trainings. 1. device overview and 2. training FPL Quite helpful to start with.

It's a great addition to the Mi-8's cockpit and I'm glad I bought it but it would be quite a bit more useful if it could provide some course guidance to the pilot in the left seat :joystick: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Tuning frequencies doesn't do anything (that's why a 400 unit would make more sense...) and as for the GPS, you can not couple it to your gyro compass gauge (HSI / UGR-4UK). gospadin Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 that's why a 400 unit would make more sense... You're correct that it doesn't currently connect to other instruments in the Mi-8. My assumption (no inside info) is that they're developing the base technology 430 that other aircraft may be able to hook up additional input/output signals.
