trailryder Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Hey all, After getting the game loaded, my routine, before ever starting to play is to center my TIR4(F12), S to unpause, YY to get rid of the bottom screen bar, zooming the flyby view, shft J for jiggle of that view, zooming out exterior cockpit view(because zooming flyby view makes exterior too big), shft J for that view and lastly, I change the hud color(ctrl H). I'd like to know if I can set these parameters as default in a config file somewhere. I know where/how to do the hud color. Wondering about the rest. Thanks for any help in making my routine shorter.
Kuky Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Don't think you can do any of these, unles you have a HOTAS or some other programmable controler (joystick) and just programm all these key presses in a sequence on one button. SuperKungFu Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 yea im interested in this too, right now i have the keys macro to my joystick so one button will hit F2, y, y, Shift-J, zoom out a little, and S. Kinda annoying, is there a way to change something in the file that would automatically start with these settings? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
S77th-GOYA Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 HUD color can be defaulted to anything you like. Search for LOCFG for the easiest way to do it.
trailryder Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 Thanks guys, hadn't thought of trying to set up a macro or command sequence with my CH hotas.
Wild.Bill.Kelso Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I'm doing this with TouchBuddy. I have a A10 profile that has a Startup macro that sends all those commands to set everything up before I get started.
