MBot Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 According to the mission editor loadout menu, the RB 75 (+launcher) weights 210 kg and the Rb 75T (+launcher) weights 410 kg. Can this be correct? Standard AGM-65 Mavericks have a warhead weight of 57 kg (HEAT) and 136 kg (HE), so only a 79 kg increase. I somewhat doubt that the Swedes could double the weight of the weapon without the performance plummeting (only the warhead was replaced, propulsion was unchanged as far as I know).
Rudel_chw Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 According to this, the T should be 85 Kg heavier than the normal missile: http://www.robotmuseum.se/Mappar/Robothistorik/06_attack/ARM_rb_75.htm Dont know if the weapons range was affected by this. Tippis Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Well, you know, we had all these furniture screws and hole-b plugs and hex keys that someone had forgotten to include in the packaging and we had to dispose of them somehow… ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. MBot Posted August 29, 2018 Author Posted August 29, 2018 The RB-75T is now 354 kg in DCS, which still is a 70% increase in weight over the 210 kg of the original RB-75. Can this be correct?
MBot Posted April 12, 2020 Author Posted April 12, 2020 This issue is still present. The RB-75T in-game is 70% heavier than the RB-75. I doubt this is possible considering both missiles have the same motor.
MYSE1234 Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) This issue is still present. The RB-75T in-game is 70% heavier than the RB-75. I doubt this is possible considering both missiles have the same motor. I've done some research on all the weapon weights for AJS37. Between the 75 and 75T, the 75T is closest to the real life weight, if you include the mounting rail. All weight below are with the rail included, and as you can see, most things are too light if anything. The 75 has it's weight without the rail, otherwise correct. Most of these are from "SFI AJS37, del 2" kap. 4, p.34, or page 190.
