Hi

Going to start flying after a years absence. I'm only looking to fly the Hog in preparation for the Harrier and Hornet coming out in the future.

I have the TM Warthog and also the Saitek Pro rudder pedals. I can't for the life of me, remember my dead zones, curves, sensitivity etc and was hoping to get some advice on best settings?

Thanks

For the Hog I don't use any dead zones or curves. As you know it's a very easy plane to fly and not sensitive enough to require any curves on the warthog controller.

Your pedals are another question and probably need some help with curves and such.

As you can see in my sig I use the same gear.

I am old R/C guy and used to super-sensitive controls, as such I fly always without curves and saturation-limiters, I adjust my mind and my fingers instead ;)

Curves have a catchback !

I'm an old RC guy too. I flew in Pattern competition. Tons of fun.

Sorry for OT.

Are you serious!

I flew RC Pattern competition for many years, this goes back to 80's and early 90's. Even went to the Nats one year. Still have some of my trophies I won from different cities. I had a blast doing that, but really ended up burning myself out on it.

I quit mainly do to my two young daughters and getting into their sports activities.

Small world Don. I did most of mine in So Cal. around the same time as you. I started to lose the sight in my right eye and I lost my depth perception. I had to give it up which really hurt. It's a fun sport, but sure takes a lot of practice to get good.

Sorry for the OT again, but the best answer to the OP is try to fly with no curves.

I feel your pain on the sight loss, I suffered a large stroke during a surgery couple of years ago which cost me half my eyesight out of each eye. I only can see left of center - lost my driving privileges permanently.
