retired_old_sarge Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 :helpsmilie: Got the L-39 today. I am setting up my controls for it but cannot seem to get the throttle to set to my X52 Pro. I See the key settings for it Example, Idle is RAlt + Home, Stop is RAlt + END, Toggle Idle/stop is Ralt + Back, Smooth down is NUm- Smooth up is Num +, step down thrust is Pg Dwn, Step up is Pg Up... Can anyone tell me what I need to do to be able to set my X52 Pro Throtthe to move the throttle in the plane... I am about to go nuts trying to figure it out.. Thank You For Any Help.. :pilotfly: I have tried to set my binding on all the things I listed and can not get the throttle to move at all when I try it. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Art-J Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) "Toggle idle/stop" is the only thing (aside from throttle axis of course). It locks/unlocks the lever to/from stop detent. Assign it to some key or button, and you're done. Throttle lever won't move when it's locked, so... Push the idle/stop lock button once in the right moment during startup sequence (refer to manual) to make the engine run and the throttle to move. Push it once during shutdown sequence when lever is at minimum RPM to stop the engine. All the other options you mentioned are for folks, who don't own HOTAS and have to operate the engine by keyboard only, so they don't apply to you. DackSter94 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 So you are saying that you have no throttle axis in the options? Under axis section? LOOK MA, NO HOOK
retired_old_sarge Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 Thanks Art-J. I must have missed that when I was reading the manual... Thank You for the reminding pointer..
