Target unlock not working ?

In BVR mode, enter locks on the target specified in the selection box.

Back should unlock it. I cannot get this to work. Is there a trick ?

No trick. The backspace key worked the last time I used it but that was a bit ago. Probably check your bindings, if you haven't already.

Will do, tonight, but I am 99% certain it did not work even though all the settings looked OK.

Just tested. Works on my end using 1.5.

Checked the key binding, and it is correct.

 

Can you confirm it should be :

RWS {Enter} STT {Backspace} RWS

 

What could be wrong ? I tried repairing the installation, it did not change anything. Strange.

Yes. While searching, ENTER (Target Lock) locks the target, BACKSPACE (Return to Search) then unlocks it and returns the radar to search.

 

It is indeed strange that it's not working for you, especially after a repair, since that's the default key for that function. Does it not work for the Su-33, too?

I did not try that with the Su-33. Will do later.

I never changed any key bindings, using all default presets.

Tried it in the Su-33, and it's working. Went back to the Su-27, and it is working now.

I am so certain that I did it right before...

Then try to do it with the Su-33 and then the Su-27 again. See if it fixes your problem and report back :)
