GazAce Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Hey good Pilots, I made up a quick mission and was starting it from Mesquite AFB which pleasantly surprised me because it looks really cool but when I checked for any radio freq I couldn't find anything. And the Briefing or F10 map doesn't show anything either, any ideas anyone? gospadin Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 In real life 67L has a CTAF, but that concept doesn't really exist in DCS today, since DCS only implements monitored frequencies. With ciribob's DCS-SimpleRadio you could tune in 122.8 and it should work as expected. Hey thanks gospadin, I appreciate that man but excuse my ignorance with this but where is this ciribob’s DCS-SimplRadio? Is it a Mod that will add Mesquite or any other of those locations that are not available to my Radio menu option? And btw I saw your kneeboard Nav and I’ll be adding that ASAP, it looks great! GazAce's "Skynet Rig" :: :: 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K :: Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Mobo :: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 MSI Gaming Slim GPU 24GB :: NZXT Kraken Elite 280 RGB AIO White Cooler :: G Skill Trident Z Royals DDR4 4x16GB = 64GB :: WD Black SN 850X NVMe SSD 2TB M.2 (C Drive) :: Samsung 860 Pro 2TB SATA (D Drive) & a couple of other Drives adding another 1.5 TB :: Corsair Crystal 680X White Case :: Asus XG349C 34" Curve G-Sync 180Hz 3440x1440 Monitor :: MSI 1000 Watt PSU PCIE5 :: Virpil Constellation Alpha-R Stick with VPC WarBRD Base :: Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle :: 3 x CubeSim ext mini screens with TM Cougar MFD Bezels :: Asus ROG Pugio 503 Gaming Mouse & Razer BlackWidow mech kb :: TrackIR 5 Pro & Cap Clip :: Win 11 64 Bit
gospadin Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 No. It's basically a voice communications package that works with DCS so you can tune your in-cockpit radios and talk to other players with voice, not with F10. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=169387 My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E

I’ll take a pass on that tho as MP not my bag, I only like SP, campaigns, missions and stuff. And I’m not understanding why there is no freq for locations like that and I’ve just noticed there is a few. So, what do I do if I wish a Start Up, Taxi, Departure or an Inbound to one of those AFBs? GazAce's "Skynet Rig" :: :: 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K :: Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Mobo :: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 MSI Gaming Slim GPU 24GB :: NZXT Kraken Elite 280 RGB AIO White Cooler :: G Skill Trident Z Royals DDR4 4x16GB = 64GB :: WD Black SN 850X NVMe SSD 2TB M.2 (C Drive) :: Samsung 860 Pro 2TB SATA (D Drive) & a couple of other Drives adding another 1.5 TB :: Corsair Crystal 680X White Case :: Asus XG349C 34" Curve G-Sync 180Hz 3440x1440 Monitor :: MSI 1000 Watt PSU PCIE5 :: Virpil Constellation Alpha-R Stick with VPC WarBRD Base :: Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle :: 3 x CubeSim ext mini screens with TM Cougar MFD Bezels :: Asus ROG Pugio 503 Gaming Mouse & Razer BlackWidow mech kb :: TrackIR 5 Pro & Cap Clip :: Win 11 64 Bit
Eddie Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 It is an uncontrolled airfield, there is no ATC, hence there is no ATC frequency.
GazAce Posted November 30, 2017 Author Posted November 30, 2017 (edited) It is an uncontrolled airfield, there is no ATC, hence there is no ATC frequency. Ok cool, thanks Eddie. I get it now, so just taxi, takeoff or land whenever I want I guess. Edited November 30, 2017 by GazAce GazAce's "Skynet Rig" :: :: 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K :: Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Mobo :: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 MSI Gaming Slim GPU 24GB :: NZXT Kraken Elite 280 RGB AIO White Cooler :: G Skill Trident Z Royals DDR4 4x16GB = 64GB :: WD Black SN 850X NVMe SSD 2TB M.2 (C Drive) :: Samsung 860 Pro 2TB SATA (D Drive) & a couple of other Drives adding another 1.5 TB :: Corsair Crystal 680X White Case :: Asus XG349C 34" Curve G-Sync 180Hz 3440x1440 Monitor :: MSI 1000 Watt PSU PCIE5 :: Virpil Constellation Alpha-R Stick with VPC WarBRD Base :: Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle :: 3 x CubeSim ext mini screens with TM Cougar MFD Bezels :: Asus ROG Pugio 503 Gaming Mouse & Razer BlackWidow mech kb :: TrackIR 5 Pro & Cap Clip :: Win 11 64 Bit
