-Painter- Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Is it possible to make a cargo airdrop (from the mission editor)? Regards REAPER 31 | Painter [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Backy 51 Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 (edited) No, sadly, it is not. The CDS drop depicted in the video would be a great mod for the C-17 and C-130. Keep dreaming! Edited December 1, 2017 by Backy 51 I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Dingo_Bob Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 used to be able to mimic a para drop, set the crew to 10 or 11, set a trigger to set aircraft damage to 10% at the drop point all the crew except the pilot jumps out, plane flys away to land, not sure if that still works though, or it may have been a mist script I can't remember [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Modules are like Pokemon you gotta catch 'em all :joystick::lol::pilotfly: AMD Ryzen7 3700x, G-Skills 32Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz, MSI GTX1080Ti, TM Warthog (20cm extension by Sahaj), MFG Crosswind Pedals, Oculus Rift, Track Ir5

Backy 51 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 That sounds like a way to fake a personnel drop ... supply us with a test mission file please. I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Backy 51 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 (edited) Oh to be able to set up a LAPSE mission! You meant Low Altitude Parachute Extraction System (LAPES) I presume. If we're gonna get LAPES, then we need a M551 Sheridan to drop then. Even to drop a Sheridan as Heavy Equipment would be great. How hard can it be to model some G-11A or B chutes? I dropped Sheridans via HE and LAPES many times back in the 80's in the Herc. Those were the days! :D Edited December 4, 2017 by Backy 51 I don't need no stinkin' GPS!
