Then I practice again and for the second time and the engine don't start up along with no bouncing betty warnings....It's wired cause I'm following the start up procedure to the letter and it I get this bug just about every other start up...Can someone let me now about this please. This is the vid I follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r8F-eIvs0Y&list=PLT3KRbJYjKR0ZT2HfSiyWd5eI4vppNM7f
uscstaylor Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 No I release it after the engines starts to spool up and move my throttle slightly forward. I just tried to cold start engine 5 times and 5 times no start the rpm gauge doesn't even move. Also the bouncing Betty warning light don't flask every time you hit the engine start up toggle.....Ill try to make a video......
comie1 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 If you can, make a wee vid dude. Then we will be able to help you better [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] https://www.twitch.tv/comie1
Agent_wolf Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 I get the same thing sometimes. On startup make sure you dont move the throttle until the rpm is around 92. If the engine dont kick in when moving the throttle one detent forward then use the "throttle cut off lever" to move the throttle back then forward again and lock the throttle again with the "throttle cut off lever". The engine should start spooling up then. I belive this has to do with the problem SVTONY reported. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ANON6-1 | Wolfie
uscstaylor Posted December 4, 2017 Author Posted December 4, 2017 (edited) I made these as short as possible and I'm no pro be any means but you can clearly see the 2nd start don't work...I thought I was going crazy.... OK Guys here's the 1st attempt and it works fine... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUEP0j2N-vg&t=9s Here's 2nd attempt and same thing but no engine start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTD-8BBB0WY Edited December 4, 2017 by uscstaylor

Esac_mirmidon Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Be sure you have the throttle all the way back. If the throttle is in idle position the engine wont start. If you see the throttle on idle just use the throttle cut to move It to stop and release again the cut. " You must think in russian.." mvsgas Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Here's 2nd attempt and same thing but no engine start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrRAhdwf6ig&feature=youtu.be I think you move the throttle to early. Wait until at least 5% before moving the throttle. At first, that was happening to me all the time until I realize the aircraft spawn with the engine cutoff lever in (you can move the throttle). Now, I follow the steps on the A1-AV8BB-NFM-000: as soon as I turn the battery, 6. Throttle quadrant check. a. Parking brake — OFF. b. Throttle — FULL, JPT LIMITER OFF. c. Idle stop — CHECK. d. Throttle — OFF. e. JPT limiter — ON. f. Parking brake — ON. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

Yes, mapping "Button 29" and using it correctly is a huge help and extremely convenient  Spoiler Ryzen 9 5900X | 64GB G.Skill TridentZ 3600 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X570-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 960Pro 1TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero Pro Flight Trainer Puma | VIRPIL MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | Virpil CM3 throttle | Virpil CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | TPR rudder pedals OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings
