dresoccer4 Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 (edited) 2 quick questions: 1) what the JPTL switch by the throttle does? 2 what this UK circle on the HUD is? only seen it since update Edited December 15, 2017 by dresoccer4 Acer Predator Triton 700 || i7-7700HQ || 512GB SSD || 32GB RAM || GTX1080 Max-Q || FFB II and Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle || All DCS Modules
Zarni Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 2. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3325484&postcount=3400 HUD RWR Symbology is now available. Now you can see radar threats without using the MPCD EW page. Everything is possible except skiing through revolving doors.
dresoccer4 Posted December 15, 2017 Author Posted December 15, 2017 (edited) UK stands for an "unknown radar emitter" thanks! any idea how to make it go away? tried HUD declutter but that didn't work edit: maybe any sane pilot wouldn't want it to go away :) Edited December 15, 2017 by dresoccer4 Acer Predator Triton 700 || i7-7700HQ || 512GB SSD || 32GB RAM || GTX1080 Max-Q || FFB II and Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle || All DCS Modules
Shrike88 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 You can turn your RWR (Radar Warning Receiver ) switch to off. That will remove it, however I am not sure if there is a way to declutter without shutting your RWR off and loosing the alerts. Probably still to be implemented.

mvsgas Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 1) what the JPTL switch by the throttle does? from A1-AV8BB-NFM-000, page 2-18 2.4.5 JPTL Switch The JPTL switch when selected OFF mutes the DECS JPT limiter function. The acceleration limit corrected fan speed, and corrected compressor speed limiting functions are retained. The AOA cutback function is not retained. With the JPT limiter muted, the mechanical fan speed schedule is reset to the short lift wet schedule and limit. This results in a 3.3 to 4.3 percent increase in engine rpm for the --406 engine, and a 6.0 to 7.0 percent rpm increase for the --408 engine. Selecting limiters OFF will only result in an increase in the full throttle rpm and thrust if the engine is actively being controlled on either a JPT limit or dry mechanical fan speed limit. If the engine is being actively controlled on the corrected fan speed limit or the short lift wet mechanical speed limit, selecting the JPTL switch to the OFF position will not result in an rpm or thrust increase. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Zarni Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 tried what you said, didn't seem to affect any of the HUD radar warning symbols. not a big deal though Add more RWR volume, at least one click, then turn it back to OFF. Everything is possible except skiing through revolving doors.
