three days to download and crashes first time I play

360 kbs is the fastest I can download and I was having a problem like this

before I installed new nvidia drivers. I hope someone can help me as

this is sad and I have waited 3 days just to use DCS while downloading

open alpha, Normandy and NTTR and the AV8b and FW190

 

 

Does not seem to matter if I OC on my gpu's or not.

 

So even though this is the first time I tried to use dcs

it did a dcs.log and a dcs.log.old

which I copied and pasted at the bottom

Try installing the redistributables ( both ) on the distr folder inside the game. And also, to be sure, the DirectX files inside the folder.

I am sorry that I now know I should have posted this in the crash section.

 

I read other peoples same problem and I followed one of the

suggestions that go to saved games and delete the open alpha

and so far it seems to be working.

 

ESAC, I appreciate Your help very much but have no idea what redistributables are

nor how to check for DX files except to go to MS and download them.

 

I included my dxdiag and my asus sound card has something written

 

But at least it seems to be working and not crashing after

I deleted the Saved game files for open alpha

I was talking about the distr folder INSIDE the DCS main installation.

 

But glad you fix It.
