exray Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 My Harrier missions that are air-start always begin with the shade equipped. I don't see an option to start with the NVG - can anyone help? Zeroskills Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 In the editor you need to set the av-8b to equip the NVG's That just puts the NVG in the storage box, the pilot still needs to spend 4 minutes attaching them if you do an air start. If you start on the ground you can have the ground crew attach them for you in a few seconds. There is no way to have the mission start with them already attached to the helmet as far as I know.
Zarma Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Nice was wondering the problem. Lot easier to set them up on the ground when flying night mission then. i9 9900k, 64 Go RAM, RTX 4090, Warthog HOTAS Throttle & Stick, Virpil AH64 collective, TPR rudder, MFD Cougar, Trackir 5 Pro, Multipurpose UFC, Alain Dufour's TEDAC and Oculus Rift S (when I want some VR), http://www.twitch.tv/zarma4074 / https://www.youtube.com/user/Zarma4074
exray Posted December 19, 2017 Author Posted December 19, 2017 Maybe something that could be added in then? i7-4790k @ 4.4GHZ, 32GB G. Skill Ripjaws DDR-2133 RAM, EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW3, Crucial M500 SSD, VKB MCG, TWCS Throttle, MFG Crosswind, TrackIR 5
SGT Coyle Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 There shouldn't be any need to have to have ground crew equip NVGs. Pilots can attach and detach at any time during the flight. That's why there's a stowage box. If you couldn't do it as easy as putting on a pair of glasses then there'd be something else there. Unless it's a limitation of the game, I can't think of a reason why it is the way it is. Night Ops in the Harrier IYAOYAS
