Tested by deleting export.lua from both stable and OB. Rebooted. Started VA. VAICOM created both files.

If I were you I would look into @stuartaston's post above to check what the register have.

I'm getting a message in voice attack: "7:48:35.821 DCS World version 2.5 not found."

 

the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eagle Dynamics\ only has entries for openbeta, there is no entry for the sable version. could someone post what the key names are for the stable version, and I can try and put those in to see if vaicom finds it then?

**** solution found. I added registry key/values for the stable version:

 

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Path

 

and now Vaicom finds the installation.

I need help with a Viacom Pro Issue.

 

In the Recognition Log ... I get the following notification every time I key my mic to make an input to Voice Attack. [YELLOW SQUARE] UNABLE TO ACCESS COMMAND. COMMAND NOT AVAILABLE (Chatter). It doesn’t seem to interfere with operation, that I know of, but is very annoying. I do own Chatter with a current license. However, I have it turned off. Chatter is in the Extensions folder within the APPs folder in the Voice Attack Directory. Why do I keep seeing this notice? How can I get it to stop?

The notices leading up to this one may help understand:

I'm in F18, the command used:

 

Easy Communication = OFF

Manually tune to 71.000 in Comm 1 "M"

Select Tunes Radio = Untick

 

Then say > crystal palace interrogate

 

Nothing happens, no response from AI

 

After changing back to Easy Communication = ON, all works fine with the same freq and command.

I have just tried in the F-18 and A-10c with the same result (no response). Voiceattack window shows the command is recognised and processed so probably a small change in the way DCS works behind the scenes. Can confirm that Select Crystal Palace tunes the radio correctly if Select tunes option is ticked

When I declare "Inbound" the radio frequency always jumps back to my departure/default tower frequency of the mission, why?

I take off and change mu com1 (f16) to an alternate airport, declare inbound and the frequency changes.

I believe this should happen if i have "easy com on" or "Select Tunes Radio" option selected in the Preferences.

I have none of these 2 options.

I have never gotten the Viper to tune my radios! I'm envious, and I have select tunes... Enabled

I think you are running VAICOM in debug mode - turn this off using the first option on the Config tab of the VAICOM configuration window and see if this works

Colt 1 Ready "ROLINYA" is heavy Russian accent!

How to i get rid of it this "ROLINYA"

I have another profile loaded as a secondary one and i can call the Tower using it but i want to know why viacom is behaving like this.

Well, the Voice overs are from DCS, but you can use vaicom to change to English if that's what you mean.

Have to tried to say "select destination" verdure inbound command?

 

I was trying to be funny about the Viper. But I won't radios to be tuned, at least the tune frequency command, but I cannot get it to work.

I have tried my Viper tonight and it didn't change frequency for me (Select tune off) - haven't tried it with select tunes option on

i have no problem with setting the frequencies via F16C DCS v2.0.0 profile by Bailey.

I almost sue it the departure , defiantly NOT the closest one.

In any case I do not want to change the tower frequency unless i tell it to

Okay that's fine. But default language in Russia is Russian. So I assumed you were flying in the Caucasus. My bad.

Under vaicom preferences, you have some options between Nato and Russian. Check those.

Yes i was.

Still i don't recall hearing Russian, before i installed Viacom.
