thrustvector Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 well, I couldn't fix my last hotas as was beyond repair, so while in the end I will go back to another hog, I'm left stickless and playing using keyboard. now on ka-50 general fc3 planes its not too bad but on the viggen its just unplayable, soooo my question is I need a cheaper hotas to keep me flying for a good few months, any sugestions? saw a thrustmaster T.1600m FCS, any good?
Lixma 06 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I've got the original green T.16000 stick (which is about 7 years old now) and the TWCS throttle (no pedals) and they've been great. The throttle is made out of that plasticky plastic but it's pretty smooth, everything works as advertised, and there's a fair bit of depth when used with TARGET. The stick has survived this long and the buttons are fairly agricultural but the action remains buttery smooth with no hint of stiction.
grunf Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I only have the T.16000M stick, not the FCS. The stick is great, all axes are smooth and precise. There are decent amount of buttons. The buttons may seem a bit flimsy, but they are OK, and durable. I have it for about 3 years, the only sign of wear and tear is a little bit of play in the pitch axis. I don't think you'll find any better at the same price level.
thrustvector Posted January 1, 2018 Author Posted January 1, 2018 (edited) thank you both guys, that's just what I needed to hear, I cant afford to get a new warthog at present, but didn't want just a crappy one thank you, I take it the x52 pro is about the same as these but thrustmaster is a bit better made Edited January 1, 2018 by thrustvector
Lao Fei Mao Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 The T 16000M is best cheap stick, smooth and accurate, I have it companied with the X52 Pro throttle (hate the mechanics of X52 Pro Stick), the only shortcoming is it has only one coolie hat.
