I would like to address this topic to developers. Why can't carry the Mig-21bis S-5KO rocket? In DCS are in the armament L-39 Albatros. If they are already modeled in the game, it should not be a big problem to include them in the aircraft. Currently, the Mig-21bis is armed with the S-5M rocket. Mig-21bis with S-5KO would be quite effective against tanks.

What is the opinion of developers and users?

We already have S-24 rocket! It is precise and effective. I dont feel the need of s-5ko..

 I´m sorry mate, but why wouldn´t we have another weapon, if we could.

Rocket S5KO was standard and very effective antiarmor equip of Eastern Block.

I can´t see any reason for not using standard equip on all versions Mig 21.

I´ve been asking develepers for adding weapons selection.

It may not be a case of 'can it carry and fire it' as much as 'will it do anything bad to the plane when it fires'.

We already have one rocket that strangles the engine if launched from the inboard pylons. So its possible that such a prolific weapon might be excluded for similar reasons.

The S-5 rocket family only differed in warhead, the propellant was the same.

They shouldn't be very effective against tanks though, they were more intended for lightly armored vehicles like Humvee's and M113's

The sight has markings for 5M and 5K rockets. The 5KO has fragmentation features over the 5K and 5K1 while being ~15% heavier than 5M/5K. 130mm RHA capability is pretty good. It should take out T-55 from the weaker angles.

This. The rockets are also heavier, so there's a decent chance that they were never tested or certified for the airframe.
