Deffered shading also causes the KA-50 AP lights to be inversed, as well as making lights on the "Auto turn to target" and "Ground moving target" Inop ( and probably a bunch of other button lights too).

Let‘s only hope that they will fix all this as they are doing for the F-18 and

the Persian Gulf. At the moment, I repeat, msalama, a disaster. Sooooo happy

that I am running release version 2.5.0 at the moment, deferred shading off.

Polychop SA342 Viviane sight still black.

KA-50 - still inop or reversed lights.

At the moment I'm forced to remind you that the OB is indeed a beta, not a disaster.

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

Well, at the moment I'm forced to remind you that it seems that it is a disaster-beta.

Although I haven't done me the masochistic harm of installing it myself, since the release of that 2.5.1 I have been reading thoroughly the posts in this forums, and the overwhelming majority of them are very much full of disappointment and frustration. Very odd also the fact that this 2.5.1 beta comes after the "release" version 2.5.0.

I am very curious if the the F-18 and the Persian Gulf map will be released for a "release" version (2.5.2?). Both which look fantastic with DFS on, I must admit. But this quality should be implemented to all modules and maps. And Ia am not speaking about the free ones, but the ones for which we have paid literally hundreds of dollars.

This is now out of control with how many times you have to tell us all that you are running 2.5 release with DS off, and how happy you are. We get it!

It is frankly ridiculous that you continue to call 2.5.1 a ‘disaster’ when you haven’t even tried it yourself!

In my opinion 2.5.1 is a significant improvement in almost every way on the release version.

So, please install the open beta, and then give us an opinion on it, but for now....

Just read the posts.... Please point me out to whose that describe a "significant improvement in almost every way on the release version" ... I could find only a couple of them, but a lot of negative ones, and the people that wrote them are most certainly not stupid.....

I'm just gonna say it may look great on a monitor but it's fine in VR, look wise. Performance wise it could be better overall. Since deferred shading is on by default you can turn off msaa if running in VR and crank up other settings.

I’m not going to argue about that, as it would be pointless. My point is, try 2.5.1 yourself before constantly calling it a disaster here.

I find that pointless is this discussions with you, sir. I won't install that 2.5.1, I got fed up of playing beta - tester for paid products, I have been doing it for years now. I will wait for 2.5.2 or whatever is called release, hopefully with the sorted out problems of night / cockpit lightning as showed in the F-18 and Persian Gulf.

I’m not suggesting you should install 2.5.1. I am saying, however, that if you want to give an opinion on it, then you should make sure you know what you are talking about and try it yourself. Constantly banging on about the ‘disaster’ based on a few other people’s opinion is frankly a nonsense.

Either try it yourself and give an opinion, or give us all a rest from the ‘disaster’ posts that you are continuously putting out here.

A few other people’s ? Alot of them, all wrong, in your opinion.

"give us all a rest" Give YOU a rest, other people do agree with me,

even in this very same thread.

But indeed, I will give YOU a rest, unsubscribing from this post,

and leaving you in peace. bye.

Please don’t put words in my mouth. No, I don’t think they are all wrong. Far from it, they are giving their opinion based in on their actual experience, and that is what I am asking you to do.
